本产品适用于配电网、工业装置等领域，主要功能是输送电能。本产品为通常条件下使用的产品，不适用一些特殊条件的场合，如架空、水下、船用、海底、核电站等。
阻燃聚氯乙烯绝缘电缆适用于具有阻燃要求的场合。
耐火聚氯乙烯绝缘电缆适用于地下铁道、地下商场、大型购物中心、高层建筑等人口稠密、通风受限的场合。
